1. Accepting these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of javacodinghub.com (“Java Coding Hub”, “we”, “us”). By using the site or creating an account, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.

2. Your account

  • You must give an email address you control, and keep your password secret.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
  • One person, one account. Do not share an account, and do not share paid access with people who have not paid for it.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you are under 13, you may not create an account.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that is being used to harm the service or other users.

3. Free content

Topics, lessons, the learning tracks and the online Java compiler are free to read and use, with or without an account. We may change, move or withdraw free content at any time.

4. Run tokens and the API Sandbox

Run tokens pay for the computing time your live application uses in the API Sandbox. They are a prepaid balance on your account, not a currency, and they have no cash value.

  • A small application consumes 1 token per 10 seconds; a heavy one consumes 50 tokens per 10 seconds. Which rate applies is decided by the measured memory the application actually uses.
  • Tokens do not expire. Buying tokens on their own is a one-off purchase with no subscription and no automatic renewal.
  • Tokens are tied to your account and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money.
  • Live sessions have time limits, and end when your balance runs out.
  • The Sandbox is for learning and evaluation. It is not a hosting service, and it must not be used to run anything you or anyone else depends on.
  • We may change burn rates or session limits. If a change would reduce what your existing balance buys, we will say so before it takes effect.

5. PRO access

PRO is a subscription, billed monthly or annually. It unlocks the PRO topics, including those added later, for the term you have paid for. Each term also includes a monthly allowance of run tokens; it does not include courses or projects that are sold separately.

Nothing is charged automatically. There is no mandate and no stored card, so a term ends unless you buy another one, and access continues until the date shown on your profile.

6. Premium projects and paid courses

A premium project is a downloadable archive containing source code, build files, tests and documentation. A paid course is content sold on its own and is not included in PRO.

When you buy either, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

  • use the material to learn from;
  • use the code in your own projects, including commercial ones;
  • modify it freely for your own use.

You may not redistribute, resell, publish or share the material or your download, in whole or in substantial part, or present it as your own work in a course, tutorial or product that competes with ours.

7. Prices, currency and payment

  • Prices are shown in Indian rupees for visitors in India and in US dollars elsewhere. The currency is selected automatically and confirmed by our server when the order is created.
  • Payment is processed by RazorPay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
  • Applicable taxes are included or added as shown at checkout.
  • Your purchase is complete only once the payment is verified by our server. If a payment is taken but not confirmed, see section 8.
  • We may change prices at any time. A change never affects something you have already bought.

8. Refund & Cancellation Policy

In short: if something did not work, or you were charged and got nothing, contact us and we will refund it. What we cannot refund is compute time that has already been consumed.

Cancellation

Run tokens and premium projects are one-time purchases with nothing to cancel. A PRO subscription is not charged automatically: the term you paid for simply ends unless you renew it, so cancelling means doing nothing. Access continues until the date shown on your profile.

When we refund

  • Charged but nothing delivered. Always refunded, or the purchase is credited to your account — whichever you prefer. Check your profile page: an unconfirmed checkout is listed there with a reference to send us.
  • Duplicate payment. Refunded in full.
  • Unspent run tokens, within 7 days of purchase, provided none of that pack has been used.
  • PRO access, within 7 days, provided you have not downloaded material from PRO topics.
  • A premium project or paid course, within 7 days, provided the download has not been taken. Because these are delivered instantly and in full, a completed download is not refundable — you already have the entire product.
  • Anything materially not as described. If the product does not do what the page said it does, you get your money back, whatever the time limit.

What we cannot refund

  • Tokens already spent on live sessions. That compute has been used and paid for on our side.
  • A premium project or course that has already been downloaded, except where it is materially not as described.

How to request one

Write to arulraj@javacodinghub.com or use the contact form with your order reference. We reply within one working day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through RazorPay and typically reach you within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank.

9. Acceptable use

When using the site — and the Sandbox in particular — you must not:

  • attempt to break out of the sandbox, escalate privileges, or reach other users' data;
  • use it to attack, scan or send unsolicited traffic to any third party;
  • mine cryptocurrency, run proxies, or use it for bulk processing unrelated to learning;
  • host anything intended to stay running, or that others rely on;
  • upload unlawful material, malware, or content you have no right to;
  • scrape the site at a rate that degrades it, or bypass a paywall or access control;
  • resell or redistribute access to paid features.

We may suspend a session or an account immediately where we believe this section is being broken.

10. Intellectual property

The lessons, articles, diagrams, interactive elements, branding and site software are ours and are protected by copyright. Beyond the licence in section 6, you may not copy, republish or redistribute them.

Short code snippets shown inside free lessons may be used in your own work without attribution — they are teaching examples and we want you to use them.

Anything you post publicly on the site remains yours. By posting it you allow us to display, store and distribute it on the site.

11. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available, but it is provided without any uptime guarantee. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or because something has broken. We may add, change or withdraw features. Where a change removes something you have paid for, we will offer a refund proportionate to what you lose.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The site and its content are provided “as is”, for education. We do not warrant that the content is free of errors, or that following it will produce any particular result. Code from this site is your responsibility to review and test before you rely on it — especially in production.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Consumers keep all rights their local law gives them.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove the protection of mandatory laws in your own country.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms: arulraj@javacodinghub.com, or the contact form.

If we change these terms materially we will update the date above and notify account holders by email.
